Gordon Williams from Texas is a self-made artist who lives and works in Conroe. With eyes that have always seen beauty in the ordinary -- objects, animals, structures --- he is inspired to transform the ordinary into a visual that emits radiance. 
Gordon’s gilding process is unique in that his work is created entirely of leafing. Combining gold, silver, and copper leafing morphs into a luminous effect which immediately brings the subject to life. 
Creating art gives Gordon the chance to discover something new every day. Sharing his visions and thoughts brings him both joy and peace. His concept of reality and imagination awakens thoughts and evokes a deeper appreciation of the beauty that can be found in ordinary things.
